Leaders give it! Managers demand it. Do you give it? or do you demand it?
Giving respect is one of those leadership traits that had an almost immediate return on investment. By giving someone respect they will either give you respect back or give you nothing. It is almost faster than a video going viral, you will know.
Now just because someone chooses to not respect you is no reason for you to go off and not respect them. It could be they have never been treated with respect and they don't know any better. No matter what show them respect. Always!
