Being a diverse individual shows everyone that you are open to new and different ideas, concepts, and most importantly new and different people.
You are also open to new and different ways of doing things. New and different ways of thinking. For a leader it is a mandatory requirement that you tell everyone and expect everyone to bring you something new, something exciting, something different and something innovative.
