The world may be your oyster, however, very few of us have an oyster bed in our backyard. That means that in order to get those oysters you are going to have to get out and interact with the world. I promise you no one is going to ring your doorbell and hand you riches of the world and the secrets of the universe. REALITY CHECK: It is not going to happen (not in million years). Now you can sit there continuing to believe that the man or woman of your dreams will be standing in your doorway the next time the doorbell rings, or a completely random and unexpected check for two million dollars will be in tomorrow's mail. It is not going to happen.
All of this is possible and can only happen when you decide to leave your safe zone and get out there and face the world. Face it head on, meet new and interesting people. Do new and exciting things. Then who knows your Ryan Gosling or Scarlett Johansson might just be standing at your front door ready to hand you a check for untold riches.
Until that moment comes you have to do everything in your power to make it happen and you can do that be getting out there.
