Always wanted to help your fellow man and get some pretty cool experience that you can put on your resume? Volunteer!
Not only is it a good thing to do, it is also a great way to get real world experience in an area that you have no experience. Volunteering will quickly puff up a scrawny resume. However, it is not all about you and your resume.
You get to meet some new and interesting people. Do some pretty cool and interesting things. Who knows one or two may become a lifelong friend(s)?
Most Important: Volunteering is a great way to help your community by providing a much needed service where it is needed the most.
